My name is Jesse, I was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas (go Chiefs) I’m big into football, weightlifting and classic cars. If you’re a college football fan then we’d definitely click, Jayhawks fan here (KU). I spend my free time fishing and just kicking it at the lake (yes, Kansas has lakes haha). My family has a fish lake house just across the state line in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Summer is fun but the fall there is beautiful with the leaves changing.

Though I’m in prison I’ve earned my way into a real world job as a carpenter at a truss plant called Millcreek. I love my job and work hard at it.

When not at work I spend a lot of my time lifting weights and having good conversation with my buddies, though will admit I can be found watching Alaska Bush People on TV at times.

I’ve got just a little under 2 years here and I’m looking forward to finding some cool people to write. I can absolutely promise you, if you take the time to send me a letter, I’ll definitely write back.

Hello,

My friends and family call me JR. Hopefully you will after getting to know me.

I’m currently a student with our local college. It’s a brand new program here and after 20 years here I am really excited to be a part of this 2nd chance degree program.

When I’m not in class I spend 8 months in our 2 acre garden here. I was able to get my Master Gardener Certification 6 years ago.

When the garden isn’t in season I hit the gym every day. I listen to all types of music. Depends on my mood really. This morning “Against the Wind”, by Bob Seger came on.

That song seems to sing my life to this point. Hopefully with this ad I’ll get some ideas for my next favorite song. If you like music, veggies, and smiling I wanna hear from you.
